Prizes for buying more than one version of sonic 4

Yep... since the game will be released on more than one platform, sega is offering speical prizes to all who buy Sonic 4 on two or more platforms :faic:

Good news for me, as I can buy it on the PC and on the Nintendo Wii (my two consoles).

Sega's getting desperate! They can't make a profit on one game per household so they want everyone to buy 50 copies of it just so they can make a couple bucks for the first time on Sonic!

If you're confident the game could sell well and assured that you did a good enough job, why would you push your fans so hard to get as much of your profitable merchandise as possible? Here I thought you couldn't be any greedier, self-serving,or desperate of a team. Sure proved me dumb.

$55 for almost the same levels four times over, and all you get is a tiny bit of fame.

That's a pity, then, as I'm mostly a PC gamer (though I do go on my Wii time to time), and I think SEGA could profit from making a PC version.

Fair point, Zezima. I don't approve of getting brand name merchandise generally, but sometimes it's taken to ridiculous levels. And it should never be used as a substitute for poor sales of games, as it's the games that matter, and not the merchandise.
