It came out today, and there's a standard version featuring a DVD + BluRay, and a deluxe version featuring a DVD + BluRay + BluRay 3D + Digital Copy. If you preorder it at Toys R Us, you get a free poster with your purchase and 10 dollars off. My friend gave me a shit fit and told me I should've got Transformers:Dark Of The Moon instead. I'm like "Fuck that shit. Screw Michael Bay and his Transformers movies." I'd rather have a movie like The Lion King on BluRay than that monstrosity. Mr. Bay is also the reason I hate Transformers now. Anyway, back to The Lion King. I picked up my copy today, but didn't watch it yet. I downloaded the digital copy to my iPod though. It must look amazing on BluRay!

Insulting Michael Bay is what made the Transformers movies worse, so please stop.
Besides, we should be talking about Lion King and how awesome it is. Very dark too.

I was actually joking about the bit where my friend was giving me shit about not getting Dark Of The Moon. I didn't even see my friend today. I didn't even see Dark Of The Moon yet either. I just wanted to see how people would react. XD But anyway, back on topic, yes, The Lion King is a great movie. Although it clearly stole alot from Kimba The White Lion. But I digress.

True dat. My mom watched Kimba the White Lion all through her childhood and introduced me to it. I never watched more than three episodes, but the Lion King definitely ripped it off.
However, the Lion King was still one of the best Disney animated movies ever. For me, it goes,
1. Tangled
2. The Lion King
3. Aladin
I just couldn't take the Disney princesses. They were just plain annoying, though they have improved over the past couple years.
The Lion King movie really interested me and drew me into it, with its fair share of humor, sadness, and everything else a good movie needs. For most of the Disney movies, I have never really sat down and watched the entire thing. Some of them I have seen all of, from seeing different part at different times. But the Lion King I would actually sit down and watch the whole thing through, because I loved it so much. I'm so happy they're bringing it onto Blu-Ray, but since I don't have a Blu-Ray player I'll just have to buy it on DVD.

Haven't seen Lion King since I was a kid. I'm not surprised they're rereleasing it though, I think it was a pretty good movie from what I remember.

There is a sequel. It's called Simba's Pride.
