I consider it more of an art style. Saying it's exclusively Japanese is really narrow-minded. If baseball is played in Japan it's still called baseball.

It would be translated, of course, but the meaning of the word would still be taken as the same.

Annie weigh. I'm bored, TSC. What animu should I watch?

Hey, I like anime. I'm gonna revive this topic.

... I think my favorite anime ever would be either Case Closed or Haruhi Suzumiya... usually I say the former because the latter is liked by so many... people I don't want to be associated with, namely weeaboos. I even own the box set of the first season of Haruhi that came with CDs and iron-ons and stuff.

I actually started watching Polar Bear Cafe today. It's... odd... but I like it. I've seen it a lot on Tumblr which was what piqued my interest.

I'm also a big fan of Paranoia Agent, Captain Harlock, Azumanga, and Excel Saga. I also love the manga of Rosario+Vampire, but ONLY the comic.

Polar Bear Cafe? Never heard of it. Haruhi Suzumiya was a good show, although the second season was kind of a letdown.

Also, I'm still on a never-ending quest to find decent animu to watch. I'm not sure why or how, given that I haven't watched anything since I watched The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzuthisshow'snameistoogoddamnlongandIdon'tknowhowtoshortenitmiya, which was probably as far back as 2010.
Have you heard of Trinity Blood?

The background is in the distant future after the destruction brought about by Armageddon. The war between the vampires and the humans continue to persist. In order to protect the humans from the vampires, Vatican has to rely on other allies to counter the situation. The protagonist, a priest called Peter Abel Nightroad, travels through the countries as a representative for the Vaticans. However, he is also part of "Ax", a special operations group controlled by the Cardinal Catherina. His encounter with a young girl called Esther will determine the struggle and survival between the human race and the vampires. (Source: ANN)

From: Here, you can watch every episode if you're interested.

I've watched about 12 episodes, it's pretty good.

Can't see why bumping a sticky topic could be wrong, so...

I love Ghost In The Shell, Akira, Ergo Proxy and all other sorts of cyberpunk stuff. But next to that I watch Toriko and One Piece. =P
