Re: Sonic 4 Episode 2 Reveal Teaser Trailer and Interview
Brand new physics? That... Will be interesting.
That man's beard scares me beyond comprehension.
Shocking news.
Ken Balough has recently confirmed what many wondered at the end of his Gamespot interview. Sonic 4 Episode 2 will not be making an appearance on the Wii console. This makes the third Multi-platform Sonic game in a row not to see release on the Wii. Here’s what Ken had to say.
But no – the reason Episode I was on the Wii was because we wanted to bring the Sonic 4 saga to the widest possible audience. Episode II unfortunately will not be coming to the Wii – for reasons most people have probably guessed, but that doesn’t mean the SEGA isn’t supporting Nintendo platforms, we have a very strong partnership and will continue to do so.
If Sonic still has green eyes I will pledge to boycott this game just like the first.

Great, so much for MIDI music...eh, maybe I'll buy it, but not likely.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 now has a product page on Xbox.com and in it there is yesterday’s trailer up for download to your Xbox 360 console as well as a few more details about the game. It seems the game won’t feature multiplayer or co-op, despite Tails’ inclusion. Online leaderboards are returning and the game will also support full 1080p resolution and in-game Dolby Digital.
The product description reads:
The Sonic 4 Saga continues in Episode II, with the return of Tails and Metal Sonic! In the follow up to Episode I there are surprises in store with the arrival of Sonic’s legendary sidekick Tails! Race across all new zones and defeat the evil forces of Dr. Eggman and fearsome rival Metal Sonic. The wait is finally over when the game releases in 2012

Well, hopefully, it will be morethan interesting. Hopefully, it'll fix the biggest, most glaring comp, laint most people had with that game. I know it was MY biggest drawback. I couldn't stand the floatiy physics Sonic had. He moved totally unlike any other Sonic game beforehand. Sonic Generations nailed it, but Sonic 4? Yeech.
Hopefully this will fix that problem.

Make sure you buy a copy of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 to "boycott" this game.
In another words, no one cares that you're somehow going to boycott the game by doing nothing.
Problem is I won't support buying Sonic 1 over and over again either... I want something new. The true classics were great, but they're the 90's. Time to move on. No need to remake or re-release unless something game-changing is added.Supersonic84 wrote:Sonic Adventure 2 wrote:If Sonic still has green eyes I will pledge to boycott this game just like the first.

No multiplayer or co-op? We're taking steps backwards with each episode... :faecpalm:Tech Man 753 wrote:Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 now has a product page on Xbox.com and in it there is yesterday’s trailer up for download to your Xbox 360 console as well as a few more details about the game. Yes, I want to go back to Adventure style but not necessarily the same SA2 over again. There's a a difference there. In any case, the classics get far much more excessive attention that I don't believe is necessary. The Adventure days don't share this same attention. Plus, Sonic 4 is ruining the classics.
Not for Wii but for PC.The Freedom Fighter wrote:No multiplayer or co-op? So instead of a step forward by having the Wii and PC get copies, it's a step sideways, since now only the PC is getting a copy.
At least they finally are remembering people play Sonic games on the computer.

Ohshi-- Sega remembered something? This should be a topic all its own.
Their recent release of Non-Wii games luckily coincides with my receiving a PS3. Score!

About as brand new as their logo.
Sonic physics in a nutshell:
"HELP I'M TRAPPED IN A WALL."
"HELP I'M TRAPPED IN A WALL."
AND I CAN SEE THROUGH THE WALL.
