I've been challenged, ladies and mental gen! And the challenge is: hit 5K posts from my current count, in 30 days. And if (when) I do that, I'll go for 10K. If I can't hit 10K in 30 days, (Not likely, given how extreme I am when I take on a challenge. Possible, but not likely.) I'll damn well hit it as soon as I can. Then I'll have my well-earned Ω rank for all time, (Or at least a very, very long time, until some theoretical Tescian future where having 10K+ posts isn't much of an achievement for anyone and the bar is moved up.) even if I'm retired as an admin somewhere down the line, courtesy of Zez himself. It's a sprint, and a marathon all in one! Anyone -- anyone! -- is welcome to join me and make it a race as well. But, I'm forcing myself to follow these rules for the sake of everyone's sanity, and for it to be legit, (And so no one's banned for spamming meaningless drivel, or the site doesn't devolve, or whatever doubtless horrible things would happen if we didn't don't actually happen.) anyone joining me in this challenge must as well:
0: The general overarching principle-rule is: Posts may be brief and simple for the sake of making craptons rapid-fire, but in they must have, to some extent, relevant, meaningful content. (Carnival Night notwithstanding.)
1: Carnival Night is pretty much free for exploitation, but no double posting.
2: Crazy Gadget and Station Square are rather free as well. Still no double posting, (No double posting anywhere, unless it's some sort of update that happened over time on some sort of newsy thread, like the current E3 thread.) and every post must have some form of content capable of being discussed, not at all like something from the "count to whatever-number" thread in Carnival Night. The Random Hotel is, natch, the most free part of Crazy Gadget.
3: In any other fora, I and any other participants must stay on topic at the forum scale, though meandering discussions within the forum's subject within any given thread is allowed. E.g. Talk about Sonic in the Sonic fora, but in one topic the subject could ramble on about anything Sonic-related, same in the games fora except for games, etc.
4: In Green Hills, introduction topics can meander in any given direction once welcomes are said, (They do anyway.) but "talk about yourself!" threads, like the avatar thread, real name thread, birthday thread and so on must stay to their topic.
5: In the site-related fora, I and any other participants must be fittingly serious, the same applying to more serious threads no matter where they spring up, e.g. the politics thread by Plix, the religion thread I made somewhere back there, etc.
I, and anyone else in on the competition, will officially begin on my mark. I won't post until then, myself, for challenge's sake, unless I absolutely need to for some site-related policy discussion reason or something, rather just hanging out in the Piantabox; anyone else planning to be in the competition, however, may post before it starts, if they wish, even elevate it into a "pre-race warmup." I'll start the race/marathon proper very soon, provided the other admins don't yell at me over it, even if nobody joins in, just to prove I can do this. Why? Because I can, that's why!
P.S.: I hereby declare that this is the official theme of The Ω Challenge. Because it's extremely fast-paced and rough like The Ω Challenge should be. And it's about drug addiction, and TSC is like a drug. Yesss.
