    Music Album Reviews by TB

    Post by TrueBlue52 on August 6th 2012, 12:54 am

Feel free to add your own album reviews as well. Even if it is an album that has already been posted, you can give your own review. We all have different opinions.

    Coldplay: Mylo Xyloto

    Track 1: Mylo Xyloto
A short intro track. Its very ambient.

    Track 2: Hurts Like Heaven
Groovy Rhythms, I love this song. 5/5

    Track 3: Paradise
    Awesome song. Classic Coldplay. 5/5

    Track 4: Charlie Brown
Very smooth soft song. No harsh notes. You won't hate it. 4/5

Track 5: Us against the World
More of a vocal song than an instrumental song (they just don't stand out at all). Its a good song. Again, you won't hate it. 4/5

    Track 6: M.M.I.X.
Intermission. Droning sound. You probably won't want to keep it.

Track 7: Every Teardrop is a waterfall
A good song. Not my favorite, but a good single. 3.5/5

    Track 8: Major Minus
Amazing Song. Not sure if I would call it groovy, but almost. 4.5/5

    Track 9: U.F.O.
Vocal Song. Slow. It will lul you to sleep.

Track 10: Princess of China ft. Rihanna
I have liked this song since the beginning. Its not one of the epic electro songs I have gotten used to (its sort of short) but I really like the song. I think it has a lot of potential. 4/5

    Track 11: Up in Flames
This song will make you hate yourself. But go ahead and listen. Its not bad. 4/5

    Track 12: A hopeful transmission
    Nothing too important here.

Track 13: Don't Let it Break Your Heart
I love the instrumentals. GET IT! 4/5

Track 14: Up with the birds
The final track. No they did not save the best for last. 3/5

    FINAL WORDS
I did enjoy this album. It is very worth it. These songs will definitely withstand the test of time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 4.5/5

    Linkin Park: Living Things

Track 1: Lost in the Echo
One of my favorite tracks on the album. 5/5

    Track 2: In my Remains
A song with potential, I suppose. It definitely has its moments. 3/5

    Track 3: Burn it Down
A nice song. It is not one of those epic electro songs I seem to crave lately. But it is a nice addition to the Linkin Park family. 4/5

    Track 4: Lies, Greed, Misery
This song has a lot of potential, especially for remixes. I like it, it is a new sound for a Linkin Park album. I would have to be in the right mood for it. Also, it is a very short song 4/5

    Track 5: I'll be Gone
Decent. Not as much potential as the other songs. 2/5

    Track 6: Castle of Glass
This is a strong song. Finally a song where he isn't screaming. His voice is very fluid. 4/5

    Track 7: Victimized
Screamo. It would sound so much better if it was blaring on high volume at teen party than on my small headphones when I'm running down the street. But the song isn't even 2 minutes long. 2.5/5

    Track 8: Roads Untraveled
Another soft song with fluid vocals. This song has nice lyrics too. One of the top songs on the album. It has a lot of potential. I want to hear some remixes. It would probably do well on the radio. 4.5/5

    Track 9: Skin to Bone
A good song. Kind of a cliche quote, but it was done well. I especially like the catchy instrumentals. Give it a listen 4/5

    Track 10: Until it Breaks
Kind of a Rap song. It isn't bad. It will probably grow on me. 3.5/5

    Track 11: Tin Foil
This song is just over a minute long. It isn't really a song, but if you like to remix tracks, this one has some interesting sounds. NA/5

    Track 12: Powerless
A soft, slow song. It isn't awful, but I don't have That much room on my iPod

    FINAL WORDS
I have to say, I'm a little disappointed. But still, its not bad, and even the worst that Linkin Park could do is better than most people's best. Give it a listen, and listen to each song all the way through, otherwise you are cheating. 3.5/5

    Maroon 5: Overexposed

    Track 1: One More Night
I like this song. A lot. Good start. 4.5/5

Track 2: Payphone ft. Wiz Khalifa
A kind of sweet song. Except payphones don't exist anymore. 5/5

    Track 3: Daylight
Not the most exciting song. Its a good song if you like Maroon 5. 3.5/5

    Track 4: Lucky Strike
An upbeat song with upbeat lyrics. "One in a million, my lucky strike!" 5/5

Track 5: The Man who never lied
Its a good song if you like Maroon 5. The lyrics are too good for the instrumentals (I hate it when that happens). I still like it 4/5

    Track 6: Love Somebody
This is a good song. Can't really go wrong with this song. 4/5

    Track 7: Ladykiller
A good song. Nothing too spectacular. But its worth a listen. 4/5

    Track 8: Fortune Teller
A slow song. Its good if you like slow songs. "I don't know what to tell you. I'm not a fortune teller." 4/5

    Track 9: Sad
    A slow song. Piano. 3/5

    Track 10: Tickets
A good song with a good beat. 4/5

    Track 11: Doin Dirt
Slow. Glittery Sounds. Its nearing the end of the Album. 4/5

    Track 12: Beautiful Love
Kind of a Romantic Song. Not too upbeat. "A beautiful goodbye is dripping from your eye." Sweet. If you're into that. 4/5

    FINAL WORDS
I like this album. I guess I'll call it a soft rock album. Even though the songs all rank about 4/5, as a whole, this album managed to not annoy or bore me. So I'll give it 4.5/5

Tin foil isn't really a song. Its a minute of instrumentals.
