[Suggestion] Ranks

we had this on the pandemic forums that went

10 posts or under: newbie

10-500 posts:member
500-2000:pandemite
2000 posts plus and a well liked member:pandemonius

it just showed who was the elite and who was just normal
i was a pandemite

i just thought it might be a cool idea

I don't really care, if other people like it then yes.

1-50: You're Too New!
51-100: Come on, Post it Up!
100-200: Too easy, piece of cake!
200-350: Huh, no problem.
350-500: That was pretty rough.
500-750: That was tight!
750-1000: I'm the coolest!

I don't think we'll use that, but it's pretty funny.

I'm meh about it. If people want it, fine, if not, then no.

I like the idea. It gets people to post... more... to get a higher rank. It works on another forum where I am.

As long as post padding doesn't increase, I'm okay with it.

I'm against it. I believe in no Ranks with the strict exceptions of Official Moderators and Administrators.


However, the benefit being, it really does provide an incentive to post more.

Yeah, it seems to have pros and cons on the boards I've seen with the system. It can lead to much more posting, but it can also lead to more spam.

I'd be fine without it

Two Things for it to pass. One, I need to figure out how to bolden the Ranks. Second, I need a good system to install, I'll be taking suggestions.

Should it be Chaos Emeralds, Characters, a Phrase, a... anything.
