In most franchises this is common so they can have a new way to development old characters while developing the new character as well. Sonic Team hasn't been the best at this, but I'd imagine Neo Sonic Team can handle it right. They made Orbot and Cubot after all.Jmh wrote:I know, but it just feels like we have enough characters as it is and adding new ones will just take away time for the current ones to get proper treatment.Sonic Adventure 2 wrote:New characters doesn't necessarily equate to "bad characters." The part that worries me is the "New characters" and "Inspired by Skylander's success."

It depends on how many new characters it is.

I'd rather have new characters than watered down old ones (Knuckles, Tails, Shadow for example).

True, but why not water them up again?Sonic Adventure 2 wrote:Jmh wrote:I know, but it just feels like we have enough characters as it is and adding new ones will just take away time for the current ones to get proper treatment.

I'm more referring to playable characters that hold more importance on their own rather than NPC side characters. The Freedom Fighter wrote:In most franchises this is common so they can have a new way to development old characters while developing the new character as well.
