So there's a new Sonic game, with new Sonic toys, and a new Sonic TV show. It doesn't appear to be made by Sonic Team, but by BigRedButton Entertainment. There have been some major changes to the character designs as well, and you can play as multiple characters now. What else ... Exploration, Ex Sly Cooper and Crash Bandicoot developer, Sonic. That sums it up.

I think the game looks good enough if it's done correctly from what the trailer revealed, but I found the show to be underwhelming. Although to be fair, it is made for kids.

I like that they're putting more playable characters in the series again. Also Knuckles looks hilarious.
I will reserve judgement for now, but this game looks like something that could be good, but only if its done right, and it looks like it would be easy to mess it up.
I'm not fond of the makeovers but I'm with Chaos. I will have to see for myself if it is a good game. The "Red Button Studio" that is making the game has never made a game before but it is comprised of former employees of Naughty Dog, Heavy Iron, and High Impact Games. There is an article on gamespot that explains their thinking on the new looks of the characters...

What I found interesting was the fact that Takashi Iizuka (the head of Sonic's team in Japan) had to reign in some of the crazy ideas that the team wanted to try. Looks like Knuckles slipped through the cracks aye? Lol.

If this is the product of any sort of consensus, I abandon and forsake the creative direction and oversight of this project as a whole.

Generations was decent for the parts that didn't involve them to be original... looking at you final boss.
I'm definitely not a fan of the new character designs, and the Wii U game looks bland and dull. But the show and 3DS game look good.
