We're horrible only because we've got a rival-school guy playing with us. XD
We play covers right now, I'm making some songs for us to play later.

Yes, we suck, and I'm only posting four of our six songs. One was never recorded, and one plain SUCKS.

Pet peeve time. I'd suggest writing original material. Covers are fine for practice, but if the amount of covers you do outweighs your own creative direction, I would personally lose interest.

Yeah, but the thing with that is they should practice more first. They should get a grasp on each others' playing skills and then begin to write based on their strengths.

As for some critiquing, after listening to In Bloom, I'd say use less symbols. I think the lead singer needs to summon more passion for the role too.

I'm aware, and I agree, that's actually the point I was trying to make, but I was cautioning that they shouldn't stay on covers exclusively for too long.

*Cymbals, and yes I agree with this also, he overused the crash cymbal and it sort of drowned out the melody.

Well, I'm writing material now. Also, I have no idea why our drummer sucked that night. Nerves, I'm guessing.
