Re: EPIC FAIL.
For shame Disney, I already had a very low opinion of them once I learned all of their stories and characters were complete plagiarisms with singing and contrived happy endings, their original material is insultingly shallow at best, and they trap their underage actor/singers in the contract equivalent of putting a gun to their head, but at least they had great animation...right?

I disrespect Disney for everything except Wall-E and Finding Nemo. Please tell me those are original.... ?

Re: EPIC FAIL.
Disney, They died when they killed Mickey Mouse.
The only thing I like from them is "the suite life of deck"

Sonic is Mickey Mouse, though.

Re: EPIC FAIL.
Hand drawing animations is quite hard, you know? Revealing this doesn't taint my opinion one bit. I love the films as a kid and I still like them now. It's not as if when I was watching the Aristocats I was like "OMG I SAW THIS B4 IN DA JUNGLE STORY CHEEEEEAPPPPP." No, instead it was like, "hey, this is a great touching kids movie."

I like the classic hand drawn ones. Most of them. These 3D Computer Graphics movies, though. I despise them. Except Wall-E and Finding Nemo. The handrawn oones actually required *Gasp* skill?!

Re: EPIC FAIL.
Dude, I just noticed something.
Most of the clips that were "copied" are from Robin Hood. They're reusing stuff from other movies in that one film.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robin_Hood_(1973_film)#Production
Low budget. It's wiki, so I don't know about the details, but it seems to me like they were only cutting costs because this was a cheaper film. It's not as if every single Disney movie is copy and paste.
Oh and Zezzy doesn't like Toy Story? For shame...

Call me insane, but this doesn't change my perception of Disney at all. I love all the old movies and most of the new ones. Always will.

Disney, I find your lack of creativity disturbing.
And if you notice, The beginning of Wall-E is alot like the beginning plot line for Vectorman...

Ok, bash Disney all you want, that's fine.
But don't you go bashing Pixar's creative genius.

Re: EPIC FAIL.
Animation is never easy, and in their case back in the 70s they had to cut corners and reuse some animated cycles in order to complete their movies. "Robin Hood" is one of my favorites, even though there are plenty of so-called "copies" in it.
As for "WALL-E," far be it from me to deny it being an incredibly artistic film with great humor, a compelling cast and a Peter Gabriel song (I respect Peter Gabriel), but I too saw the similarity between the premise for this movie and that of Vectorman. I don't think Pixar was trying to rip anyone off--call it a coincidence or call it trying something else with a similar idea. Even the most original ideas have to come from something (the Pixar designers used Johnny 5 as inspiration for WALL-E's design). These days if something looks too similar in premise, either implicitly or explicitly, people are too quick to call it a ripoff.
