Technically it isn't "fan art" as it's not directly an art of Sonic, however the idea and the way I did the coloring were kind of based off of a Sonic Render.
It's one of my characters from my Manga being a DJ.

Actually, I have.
It's just that I'm at the same time trying to remind people how this is "fan art" as in it technically should be about Sonic. But seeing how I'm not doing it myself I just tried to link it to Sonic.

The art is excellent on the character... then I look at the spin table.

Yeah, I wasn't satisfied with it either.
I then just put the full focus on the character and the background would just be there.

Then again, now that I look back at it, it does kind of have the "sketchy" style too it, which is kinda stylish in it's own way...

Actually, it doesn't have to be. It's just that this is a Sonic site so most people choose to post fan art.

They don't have the "sketchy" [Which I do like by the way][When it's done right]] look, because the perspective and proportion is off. :3

Either that or my Ninja is just that small.

Not that. That's fine. The spin tables in relation to each other. The left is somewhat level, then the right is crooked.

Right as in his right or our right?
Because the right is cut off from what I'm seeing...

As in our Right. It's crooked beyond it's intended use of depth perception.

Oh, right.
I kinda took a picture of two discs as a reference, and it didn't mesh with the intended perspective, yeah.
