Bugs in the system Empty Bugs in the system

Post by Shadowsgirl August 5th 2009, 12:04 am

Okay, I was trying to log in earlier, with the correct password and username, and it kept telling me that I had either misspelled the password or had specified an inactive or invalid account name. I tried again a few minutes later and it let me on just fine. This is the second time something like this has happened to me. It's very frustrating when it happens. :AUGH!:
Something should be done to fix this gremlin.

Yup. I do it from time to time. However, I've fallen victim to a similar glitch on DeviantArt, so, the next few times you log in, type really slow and make sure you spell correctly just in case.

Speaking of logging in why do we have a limit on how many times you wrongly put the username & passwords in it pisses greatly when I found out what I was doing wrong then have to wait 90 mins just to log back in

CUZ PPL CULD GESS UR PASSWURD OMFGNOOB!!!11!!11!11oneone!11!

But in all seriousness, that's really stupid. That system should only be active with the Admin CP. If a member's account is hacked he/she can contact an administrator.

I know for a fact that my password was correct. And my username was auto filled in. So this WASN'T the cause. I am 100% certain of that.

Maybe it's your computer. Sometimes I've had things not work properly on certain sites but on another computer it was fine.

    I never log out...
But yeah, Runescape has this I think, so they wouldn't let me continue to guess what my password was that I forgot.
