Re: Old TV Versus new TV
The Spectacular Spiderman seems a lot better. I've tried getting into Spiderman again and I feel this new show is loads better.
In any case, older TV has more good shows than new TV, but new TV has a lot of good shows people unfortunately ignore.

Re: Old TV Versus new TV
Although I do enjoy some shows within television today, I like television from the past much more. Shows such as ReBoot, Shadow Raiders, Beast Wars, the older Spider-Man series, and numerous other shows from the 1990's were extremely entertaining and never became uninteresting. It would be great to see older animated shows return on air.

Re: Old TV Versus new TV
My theory is when you look back on past entertainment you don't remember the crap.
So Idk what my position is on this subject.

That can be quite true. But that doesn't mean there isn't an overwhelming amount of good in them.

Old TV! Everything was better back in the 90s, nowadays, cartoons and Saturday night TV is absolute rubbish, I haven't sat and watched anything on TV in about a year 1/2 now.

Got that right. The only thing I watch on TV nowadays is Star wars:The clone wars. Other than that I usually just watch the classics on free on demand.Sonic Fan wrote:Old TV! Re: Old TV Versus new TV
You guys have to consider that the world has slightly changed, what was back then considered slip stick humour is now considered violence, also, we find those shows entertaining partly because it's what we grew up on and nolgastic. We may not understand the humour in Chowder (I sure as hell don't) while kids now a days do and find entertaining, while kids now may not get Tom and Jerry's humour (why is the cat chasing the mouse, oh it got hit whoopty do dah day) while we do

Re: Old TV Versus new TV
Miles is right, shows like Reboot and Beast Wars were great. Apart from anime, I like not the new stuff, but not the old old school shows.

Re: Old TV Versus new TV
Old tv,Married with children,The drew carey show, the OLD south park,The old Simpsons,The old G4 before they started airing all this boosheet,TOONAMI,the old school nick be original yo,with shows that be like Doug,Hey Arnold,Rocket Power,Rugrats,Clarissa Explains it all,GUTS,Kenan and Kel,All That.
The tv nowadays is all:
-Drama shows like House,The shift. Kinda like a mini movie.
-New episodes that are killing old shows (Simpsons)
-Everything has pretty much been done.
And don't even get me started on movies, everything coming out now seems like big movies that end up sucking or overrated comedies. No more small movies coming out.
I really wish I could be back up in the 90's.
