I never thought it would happen--in fact I would've laughed at the idea, but it has happened...

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which I grew up with confront the TMNT of this generation.

I prefer the classic turtles better, but I'd like it best without their pupils showing.

I wrote a paper on the newer ones for a college class. We were discussing kids' TV programs and the messages contained therein. I wrote that it does emphasize the importance of teamwork and perseverance, but there's a lot of "violent" action and verbal abuse in the way (Raph screams "MORON!" into a walkie-talkie in one episode).

That.. Was.. Totally Tubular! Mondorific! Sweet!

For quite some time, I actually wondered what it would be like if the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from this current generation met the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from the 1980's. It was actually quite good, and the interaction between the characters seemed to work well. It was also quite comedic when the 1980's Raphael broke the fourth wall, confusing Hun and the others.

I watch anime... a lot. Its not like I care about violent action or verbal abuse. However, due to the way kids can get violent games and such, its not that uncommon that it has that kind of content is in a cartoon nowadays.

Great film to end the TMNT under Mirage's ownership.
