Zelda II The Adventure of Link

For me, Zelda II exceeds every Zelda. It is by far the most challenging, and fighting Shadow Link properly is quite difficult. Here is the method to succesfully destroy Shadow Link without taking damage or missing, without cheesing (the cheese method is stay left corner and crouch mash attack)

Jump at him barely cross over his shadow and crouch in air, while slashing his shin a split second before reaching ground. If you land first, it wont work. You have to learn it, based on this, try jumping at him while crouching in air and attacking very low, if done right it never misses, and you can succesfully complete the game without taking any damage, very difficult though, my best is taking 3 damage and missing at least 3 times.

I played it once, and never really enjoyed it.

Niether did I. Side-scrollers don't fit into the Zelda franchise.

I like how it has the Zelda theme and story with more challenging setup, yet can still be easy for everyone as it gives a lot of life and magic. It would just be dull if every Zelda played like the first.

Thats not a real good reason for hating a game thats different from the Zelda formula

No, that's not the only reason. It's just boring. I suck and Super Mario Bros, but it's still fun.

But still sucking at something WOULD make it seems like less fun and how far you got into the game?

No, I played for about 10 minutes. I REAALLLLYY suck. I"ll play it aging right now, though, just to make you happy.

I played it for a few minutes, but I really couldn't get into it to be honest. It's fun, though, with those little critters walking around the screen, and the whole town setup. But I still had no idea what to do, though.

This game kicks my @$$.

I can't even get from the beginning of the game to the village. But that's not why I hate it. It's just boring as heck.

It is difficult. And the whole side-scrolling Zelda action style didn't work well for me....

I think it's the hardest Zelda game for sure.

Well, they freak me out when they appear out of nowhere! I could barely beat those Wall Masters in Twilight Princess! I barely succeeded, but I pwned! So...I might have defeated my fear. I'll try to finish it; thanks, Hero.

Uhh....what?

He's talking about the CD-i games.

Also, there were times in Four Swords Adventures where you were in a 2D point of view.
