The Store

Why do we have this in a FORUM!?
Everybody knows why we have it in real life.
It's in video games because it make the games more fun(in a way)
And places like Face book have it because it usually have worthwhile things to buy and use real money so the creator can buy more porn

However in a place where all the point is to talk about things serve no purpose.
The only way to get money is to post which people should have doing in the first place

Also I don't like how the Admins have to manually extract the rings from you ; not only is it a hassle which I should know from experience because it can go on for days to have to get whatever you want because the Admins are lazy fucks like my drawing request

I think the technical point for this is to encourage you ppl to post :)
the more you post, the more things you get. Plus it puts the point system to use ^^
and as simple stuff like in the store, is all what forumotion has to offer, that is all you'll get for posting... until forumotion creates something...

The problem is that the stuff in there is so overly expensive people won't even try or give up because there isn't a lot in the store WORTH buying

That's true. It is quite the challenge to actually get the rings in the first place.

The Store needs more items for it to be useful, but it's not utterly void.

Well, for what it's worth, I think the Store should either go, or it should be updated into a format like that of a store, where you select what you want (i.e. a title, a username change, etc.), and then you pay for whatever you want in rings.

I like the Store. But, sometimes, we abuse it.

Yes I saw and they were utterly pointless which should never been in the store

But now they are deleted so no more people are currently buying

Since this is a free server, all transactions have to be completed through Administrator assistance. However, if someone were to pay money to upgrade this to professional phpBB3, the store, among many other ways to use it, would be extremely useful and fun to use. Though doubted, there may be someone willing to pay for it.

My name is TheShadowWalker, and I support Gamma's running of a new forum run by him.

I think you misunderstood him. I don't think he's willing to pay for it.

I say we should keep the store, but people do need to remember to buy stuff in that store in moderation. Don't go too crazy buying stuff but overall keep using the store. The store does have a purpose IMO. So yeah, changing the format of the store would be a good idea.

This reminds me that I need to do some more ring earning before the prices inflate again...

Incentive. The more you post, the more stuff you can have. This way people don't abuse the system and can still have what they want. That also benefits them, as it encourages them to be more social.

For one, unless someone can draw it, you can see why. Second, I would suggest reminding them. And third, deal with it. That's how things work. It's a lot more annoying for the admins.

Zezima can't draw, and as of now he's the only one officially offering.
Because some people need more encouragement.

Yes, but unlike you, I actually asked if he could, and he says he can't at the moment.
Well, then that's your fault for not wanting to try things.

I think somethings in the store shouldn't be there, like a username change and that little writing this under your username. That's just basic things I see in a User CP. I don't think I need to buy them.
