    Apparently, there's guns, explosive cars, psychotic Pokemon, and psychotic trainers. Most people would hate the idea of this being real, but I'm hoping it is. I'm curious as to what Nintendo would do with a more mature Pokemon.

    To be fair, there was a more mature manga called Pokemon Adventures, and the games had some pretty dark moments too, it's only the anime that was G rated with a passion. But this is just overcompensating, once you get past the initial shock of seeing "your childhood with guns", it's still just too goofy to take seriously.

    Good point. From what I see, this movie takes place in Kanto, seeing as there's no Pokemon from games other than Red/Blue/Yellow. That guy with the hat and blue jacket is obviously the movie's variation of Ash (I believe Brock and Blaine appear in the trailer as well). And it seems like Mewtwo is the main villain, as it appears he's controlling that girl and making her commit suicide.

    My god, I think I pulled something from laughing too hard.

    A dark and edgy live action Pokemon just seems way too silly. Considering it looks like it's based on the old movie as well, does this mean that they'll bring someone back to life with the power of tears?

    This is obviously fan made with cinema effects.
    Nintendo would not invest into something this cheesy in the pokemon franchise.
    Plus all the Pokemon movies had been in the Anime, I highly doubt they would do a real life version.
