Mephiles Webskin

Ok, so I was playing Sonic 06 today, when I realized that Mephiles is such an awesome villain, that he deserves a skin all for himself :faic: Anyways... I tried the hardest I could (with very limited resources) in a timeframe of about 4 hours. That is an awesome skin, kar. Great work, as usual.

I don't know, I give an A effort but the layout of it is poor.
And I'm a professional graphic designer, so I'm not just saying it to bash you on your work, it could be better if you want it to work as a forum skin.

Well first the logo of your forum, (traditionally) should always be a banner.
See my forum in my link for example.
Size should be no larger than mine or one displayed on Sonic Community.

Reducing your logo smaller as a banner, helps versus taking up half a page.

Let's see.
I liked how you did the forum navigation icons, but if you could center them that would be great. But to be honest, they don't match or clash with the skin itself.

Text could be lighten to white to make it more readable versus using gray as it blends in too well with black.

Small stuff like that could make it better.

Recent research on web design shows that it's never a good idea to have a complete white on black (or vise versa) template- because of the contrasty. It's recommended to stick with dark gray on light gray (or vise versa).
I see your forum has a very thin page-body, which why I think the banner is smaller. I prefer my page bodies to range between 800-1000px, resulting to a larger banner. I fear that if I reduced the size, the skin would look blander than what it is (My only concern is the loading time). As a side point, your forum's banner is, unfortunately, not loading for me :O_o:
