It's a great game and I definitely recommend it, not only as a sonic game, but as an iOS game in general. Favorite game on my phone :)
(I wonder when sega will release sonic 3 xP (the first two games are already available))

I have been playing the iOS version since it was released, and to the point that my iPod has lost battery power earlier than it ever has. The game has its hiccups, of course, but it is only version 1.0. SEGA could easily fix the bugs in a later update. As Karkooshy has mentioned, it is definitely a good recommendation and is worth every penny.
