I thought we would have to wait a long time to hear any news about the next-generation VW Beetle. Apparently, though, the car could be revealed as early as January 2011 (in the Detroit Motor Show), and would go on sale soon afterward. You'll notice that the shape and profile of the car is very similar to the original Beetle, although apparently, the newer model is bigger and has more space. I hope they've changed the lights, though.
