I do really like Tails. He can fly and swim, unlike Sonic. He's also very smart. He created the Tornado planes. Do you like him?

I used to admire him, in Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic Adventure, and then, I just can't like him anymore. He's just Sonic's shadow, the exact thing he struggled against in Sonic Adventure during a moment of, uh, what was it? Character development? Yeah, that, it's kind of lost now, going back to fulfilling the role of Sonic's all-time favorite cheerleader.

I don't think Tails is Sonic's shadow in terms of intelligence. Tails is one of the most intelligent characters in the series, and he's an expert in science and maths.
Tails is definitely not in the shadow when it comes to intelligence.

I like Tails I think hes a great character I like the original STK, if Sonic games used STK like they use to they wouldn't fail so much. I haven't play with Tails since Sonic Heroes or Knuckles.

Sure he's not one of my favs but I like the little guy, He's absolutely awesome in Sonic Universe, He's a great friend in Sonic X, He's both mixed in the games, At least from my view

I like him a lot. He is cute, really cute and he is able to fly. Everytime I played Sonic Advance 3 I took tails as player one and Sonic as player two. It is more useful to fly above the map than running an crashing in monsters. I can say that Tails is my favourite sonic character.

Yeah.
They seem to have a better and more in-depth relationship in Colors.
It's part of what makes the plot really good.
