Battlefield 3 Discussion

The first contender in our FPS one-on-one battle announces that it will be the rival to this year's Call of Duty game (Modern Warfare 3). So far, it's been impressive in the eyes of press, and many are already stating that it is superior in almost every way to MW3. But, do you really think it will live up as this year's Call of Duty killer and best shooter of the year? Let's wait and see shall we?

So, I've noticed I've been giving MW3 more attention recently. So to make up for that, I'll post this, which was uploaded yesterday.

I will hopefully be getting this game which I am really looking forward to, I will be getting it for 360 and to be honest it being on 2 discs does't bother me as I know it will be a great game :)

I like the concept of an open beta. This way the flaws can be found and fixed before the official release. Can't say the same about Modern Warfare 3.

I hear they aren't having an open beta for MW3 because they want to make the game feel "Fresh" when it's released. The funny thing is people who played the game at Call of Duty XP say that it looks and feels just like MW2.

Beta's up for anyone interested. It's my first time playing a BF game TBH, and it's quite awesome (Although I suck).

I've never really been into these kinds of shooter, I guess it's just the attempt at realism that I don't like. Nonetheless I'm sure it'll be a fine game for those who like this stuff, it looks nice at least.
