Re: Count to 50,000
9908.
Meanwhile, in Mly's Mlega Mlair of Mlalciousness...
Mly sat idly in his glorious throne, made of the strongest and rarest Nexus Zone metal, Ulmecixium, covered in the softest and finest of Qi-made cushioning and cloths. There were presently countless deep rips and holes in the comfy coating, leaving the deep purple-hued Ulmecixium bare. Still, though, it looked as if the Ulmecixium survived whatever had ravaged the throne over its lifetime completely unharmed. The metal had a certain air of indefatigability about it, only further enhanced by Mly's own aura of sheer permanence. "TARA, report to my throne room immediately," Mly said into the dark, no one seeming to listen. Within seconds, this TARA was there.
"Yes, sir?" she asked of the blackness on the other side of the room.
"How is the research for the super soldier training program progressing?"
"We're almost done, sir. It should only be a few more days."
"And their outfit?"
"After much research, we've finally found an optimal method of equipping the future super soldiers and solved all technical problems in their outfit. All that remains to be done is mass-production of the armor and arsenal. ETA, no more than three days, sir."
"A source of controllable chaos energy powerful enough to convert more than one of them from numbers into soldiers at a time?"
"Done, sir. We've confiscated the chaos emeralds and put them in a guided entropy generator in a reality bubble linked to Mobius."
"Wondrous! ... How strong are the super soldiers, exactly?"
"Well, sir, one highlight of their abilities is being able to survive hours of being completely submerged in Tyrazium without any structural damage. They could likely survive forever in those circumstances, judging by the utter lack of damage all test subjects took."
"...It's been a while since the lab rats mentioned that stuff. Remind me: What does Tyrazium do?"
"Well, sir, if anything short of you or these super soldiers were to get within several miles of just a small drop of it, they would be reduced to a disorganized mess of whatever the most basic building block of the universe they hail from might be in an immeasurably small amount of time. That's assuming they went from outside of its radiative influence to such a distance instantly, as well; any travel speed possible without pumping massive amounts of energy into physics defiance systems, even in a universe with the most liberal hard-wired upper speed limits, would leave the approaching entities completely destroyed in a similar fashion before getting within about seventeen parsecs. Never mind how useless anything traveling nearby would become long before breaking down to such a basic state, rendering its effective destruction range multiple powers larger still."
"...Right. So basically, anything that's not effectively indestructible is rendered useless if it gets anywhere near it?"
"Correct, sir."
"Noted. One last question before you are permitted to leave, TARA: How many do we have right now?"
"9908 and counting up to 10,000 one by one as you asked, sir. Farewell." And with that, TARA stepped silently out the door.
