Re: The Random Hotel
There is nothing wrong with the Wii...alright, the controls are a bit funny and only work when THEY want to. But other than that...Nintendo were on to a winner. Then the Kinect came out...and then Nintendo just failed.

The kinect seems kind of useless to me. What games are you playing for your controls to not work? Mine are just fine.

The Wii has always been more reliable than the Xbox.
Not joking.

I thought the Kinect was rubbish. I played the demo in the shop and it just didn't tick all the boxes for me. I think most people like it for the gimmick value. But yeah, I think it's pretty useless too.
As for the my Wii - maybe it's just my Wii then...Sometimes, the controllers just wont pick up. It may be the sensor bar or it may be the controllers themselves, but the Wii Fit I have works fine so it leads me to believe that it is the controllers. I'm going to go buy another controller today to see if it works.

Re: The Random Hotel
That sounds odd Sonicdude. Do the controllers disconnect, or when you point it at the screen sometimes the cursor doesn't show up or keeps disappearing? if the latter, then it's definitely because something is blocking the sensor bar, the remote has to have a direct line of sight with it pretty much.

No you don't! *Pulls out mirror and pauses Sir Lord Tech Hushimo I instead and steals remote*
Anyway...the controllers just disconnect nuva500. I've tried replacing the batteries, re-calibrating them, everything!
But I bought another one today after work and hey! What d'ya know? It works! I must have just been the unlucky one who got a faulty remote.

Re: The Random Hotel
Really weird. I wonder if that's covered under warranty or something? At least you got it to work now.
Speaking of which, I finally got my Wii back (it had trouble reading discs and Nintendo fixed it for free) and I can play my favorite games again. Hello Smash and Metroid!

Re: The Random Hotel
I'm back! You seem to forget I still have the original *Holds remote up with smug look on face* I could push the erase button but that would be too harsh. How about we just call it a draw?
Oh and Nuva500, I haven't got a clue. It was horrible though! No phone signal. And to find some batteries for the remote proved to be impossible. Turns out Duracell wasn't around at that time.

But I haven't played '06 yet, I need to do that. Good thing I have complete mastery over time and can fix what you wronged.

Re: The Random Hotel
You haven't missed much with 06. Trust me. It's the kindest thing to do, to put 06 out of it's misery.
And Tech, that's what you get for messing around with time!
