    The Modern Era, considered by fans to be one of Sonic's darkest days in gaming. Due to "horrible" games like ShTH, '06, and others. My favs in the Modern Era are Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Generations, and Sonic '06. (yes. I like that game.)

    This. If you think about it, there's two halves in the Modern Era. The "horrible" and the "ZOMG SO AWESOME" ones. '06 and Unleashed are underrated; while Colors and Generations are overrated.

    Unleashed was half good, and by that I mean the day stages.

    Colours was fun and had an okay length I guess, but the wisps weren't entirely original.

    I thought Generations was great, though it was way too short.

    Tough to say. Of the choices given, Shadow's game. Was pretty good, all things considered.

    I guess each game had it's ups and downs. With all that, I say it's gonna be Generations, although it was very short.

    Generations. It's amazing, quite frankly. I haven't played Colors yet, so I can't say my opinion on that. ShTh takes second place, therefore, and Sonic Unleashed follows.

    Sonic Colors is definitely the best Modern Sonic game. Second best Modern game is Sonic Generations.
