Eh, there's so many billions of ways to play those games nowadays, it really doesn't make a big deal at all.

I just realized that too.

Even if this is only in Japan it feels like SEGA is trying to make a point or something. No Episode II on Wii, now this.

Even if they did remove the games from other countries outside of Japan's virtual console, there's always emulation. But anyway, I'm glad I bought Sonic 2 a few years back.
