Best Sonic Intros

stemming from our chatbox discussions... Anyways, which Sonic games do you think have the best intros? CD and unleashed are on a whole different level but after that, I'd say

3) Adventure DX
4) Shadow
5) Secret Rings
6) Heroes

SADX - My favorite game of course.
SA2B - Another great intro, very iconic.
SU - Really cool, but it's part of the story, so not sure it beats SA2B.
S&TBK - It's cool, but from what I remember, it's a story cutscene, I like the intros to be less about story.
STH:CD - Very good animation.
Sonic Colors - Very cute and cool to see all the Wisps and how they power up Sonic.
S&TSR - Really nice, but a huge spoiler with an abrupt end.

Definitely CD. It's amazing how they were able to make such an awesome opening without any fancy CGI or dialog. Just Sonic, running around at high speed and saving the world.

If you ask me, that's the scene that best describes the entire franchise.

Sonic Adventure 1/2, 06, Unleashed and Generations.
Rush's intros are pretty overlooked too. Both of them.

As much I have biased hate towards this game, Sonic Unleashed had a pretty great intro. The only thing that blew it was the werehog.

This is really tough...I'm gonna have to go with CD, barely. Unleashed is right behind it, though, I love watching the opening every time.

Unleashed, CD, and colors.

CD - great animation, great music, tells you everything you need to know.
Adventure - the awesome "Shit just got real" feeling, contrasting the MegaDrive games.
Shadow (pre-Title screen intro) - cool CGI and awesome music.

Sonic CD was just fantastic and while I hate Sonic Unleashed, I'll give it credit for it's incredible, Pixar-standard intro.

I quite liked S3K's. I mean, come on, who doesn't sing that song from Sonic Shorts in their head when Knuckles pops up?
