So I have a Sonic 3 save that has all the emeralds with it. I know for a fact that failing on a special stage will not make that special stage unrepeatable but you can play it again after you're done with the other stages.
Now for the Hyper Emeralds, the emeralds seem to have that property, if I remember well. Is it true that the hyper emerald stages are unrepeatable or they really are repeatable no matter what?
I'm asking this so I can go... and play as Hyper Sonic, and see him at last.
