The biggest fault of it is that you don't do like 5 front and/or back flips every time you jump. Though to simulate it best, you would probably have to do some complex POV algorithms so you'd have the view focused forward throughout the flip as Sonic likely would (He does have huge eyes in terms of vertical size, he could track from bottom to top quite a bit). That, and the scale makes it look really slow, even relative to Sonic 1's often slower speeds.

It was way too slow going through and it felt as if the camera was either positioned too low or was always looking down. Just horrible. x_x
