Valve revealed that it will be bringing its Steam Controller to this year's Gamescom through its profile on the official Gamescom website. Under the Components/Accessories tab, the site lists Controllers, and under the Platform tab, it lists PC.

And it will be beaten by the XBox controllers (360 or One).

Why even attempt at building shit, Valve.

I'm not excited. This touchpad controller just seems like it'll be awkward and difficult to use. Now I'm being a bit hasty in judgement, and we'll just have to see when it comes out. However, I'll remain skeptical.

Plus why buy a new controller when the X360 controller is doing well for PC? Why buy a new computer that most games don't even support and wait for games to support it? Why buy a touchpad controller to emulate a mouse with? Using a mouse on a touchscreen for remote controlling desktop ain't a good thing for gaming to begin with!
