Not much. Just heights, any type of insect, but only if he's on me or I don't see it until it's right next to me. In fact, something bit me on the side of one of my knuckle yesterday. Not sure what it was, but don't care as long as it wasn't a black widow or something else poisonous. I also hate Ants, but that's because they only invaded my room 3 times in just one year... damn black evil monsters. Although I've seen one on my hand and calmly walked to the door and shook him off. It's really only red ants or large groups of ants. Although a black ant bit the little flab of skin in between my thumb and pointer finger once. That sucked...
I also hate those see through stairs they have at the really tall water slides. If it weren't for their fun, I'd never go up them...
And I guess I don't like tiny spaces, but it's more of a comfort issue then being scared.
And I absolutely hate being paralyzed in any way, meaning I hated breaking my arm, straining my neck and shoulder muscles, I hate limbs falling asleep, and I absolutely despise uncontrollable shivering not due to cold, meaning muscle spasms, reacting to extreme pain, things like that.
Also, I have RRoD and HDD/MU save corrupting phobias.

Re: Phobias
I find that fear of bees (and similar insects) is so common that it really shouldn't be considered a phobia. Bees want to be feared, their coloring and the sound they make are designed to frighten even animals that are hundreds of times their size.
But that's another interesting thing about me, I'm completely unafraid of bees. I understand what little they're capable of, why people are afraid of them, and I've already been stung; for the source of all the fear it creates, it's actually quite pathetic.

When I see a bee, I don't freak out and scream, but I would prefer being as far away from on as possible.Roterblitz wrote:I find that fear of bees (and similar insects) is so common that it really shouldn't be considered a phobia. Re: Phobias
Meh, I have no need for phobias...not even bugs, though they do get "inside your head" as Roter said, if you just suck it up, it's so much easier to not fear bugs, like I have, heights don't freak me out, either.

You do not choose to have a phobia.

Re: Phobias
A phobia deals with your subconscious fears, along with conscious, enough mental training, and nothing will stand in your way, I've been able to not let anything hurt me or make me fear it...and If I do, I can always get over it, you can choose to let your phobia get the best of you,but I haven't, like I said, I have no need for them, I never said I didn't have any...Zezima wrote:Knucklesownsyou280 wrote:Meh, I have no need for phobias...

Similar, but you could have cleared it up because of that.
Besides, it's proven you can receive fear from factors in your environment. Such as a mother fearing Cockroaches, and having the cognitive ability to understand that she is fearful, instinctually, your brain imprints it for survival purposes to fear Cockroaches. You did not conciously remember or choose to do that.

You can't ignore a chemical imprint. Once a certain sound, feel, sight, etc., that triggers that chemical, you will have fear of it. You can not ignore a fear imprint.

Re: Phobias
No, but you can somewhat rise above it. Like I'm afraid of heights, but I was working on my aunt's gutters for two hours today, and I was pretty much fine.

Re: Phobias
I can ignore whatever I want to ignore, it's my body, you don't expect me to be all over some girl because my hormone chemicals kick in right there, so what's so different about this, I've made my point, fear does not get the best of me, so just leave me alone about it, it's great that you want to figure it out, but I am ME, not anyone else. I said I have fears, but they serve no need of mine because I can ignore the triggering of them ,suck it up, and get what I need done.Zezima wrote:Knucklesownsyou280 wrote:But I did choose to ignore it...Zezima wrote:

Re: Phobias
Now that I think about it, I once had a fear of sinking to the bottom of the pool and drowning when I was younger because I didn't know how to swim. Now, I don't have that fear.

Re: Phobias
I almost drowned once when I was 3ish, but after that, i swore to myself to learn to swim. So that's not a phobia. I guess I seriously have a phobia to monkey's in clown costumes... yeah, don't ask.
