Sonic 2 and Sonic 3D Blast probably were most enjoyable to me for the 2D games and Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle were for 3D. Sonic Unleashed falls just short for me because the Werehog wasn't enjoyable for me. He just felt to counter productive to Daytime gameplay.

My favourite Sonic game is Sonic Rivals 2 because Rouge the Bat in that game is so awesome that I have been Rouge the Bat to beat up Dr Eggman.
