A summery? Okay.
The characters are Shadow, Rosalyn*, Trespasser*, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Eggman, and XUR(the bad guy). (Joe was in the RP at the very beginning, but dropped out. For now, we've kept his part because we end up getting a Chaos Emerald from him.)

It starts off with some fooling around. Petty squabbles over a Chaos Emerald that Shadow gets from the bottom of a lake. Trespasser goes with Shadow and Rosalyn to get the Emerald from Joe. After that, they split up to look for the other Emeralds. Rosalyn finds out that
*spoiler! really would rather not give this away* Tresapsser meets them in Station Square and they go to the ARK to find another Emerald. They find more than they barganed for. Maria, still alive in stasis, hooked into the ARK's computer. But the computer goes haywire, and the ARK self-destructs. To get them out of there, Trespasser uses Chaos Control, and reveals himself to be
*SPOILER!!!* sent back from 23 years in the future to stop XUR from killing and destroying everything. (I know, right now some of you are thinking, "Oh, great, more time paradoxes, like in Sonic 06." Well, we found a way to work around the time paradoxes and eliminate them. How? You'll have to read.)
So they collect the Emeralds, and Sonic and Tails join them in their attempt to stop XUR. But XUR came back with Trespasser, hiding within Trespasser's body. He possess him and attacks Shadow, who was the only one who defeated XUR in the future and the one who sent Trespasser back in time. XUR flits from person to person, posessing Trespasser, then Super Shadow, and finally Super Sonic. Epic fight with everyone in super form! (Fans of Tails will be pleased. He gets to see some action.) They think they finish XUR. But Trespasser is stuck in the past, part of a sepereate timeline since his future no longer exists.
XUR said some things that left many questions, so Trespasser, Shadow, and the others go on a hunt for the answers. Enter Eggman, up to the usual. He steals *spoiler* from the Station Square museum, and Shadow and the others give chase, but end up Eggman's prisoners instead. They manage to escape, but now no one's Chaso abilities are working, and Eggman has recaptured Shadow, Rosalyn, and Trespasser, and taken them to his facility, the ARK2. Sonic and Tails are joined by Knuckles and make their way to the ARK2.
Meanwhile, on the ARK2, Eggman has made a clone of Trespasser, and XUR has returned and possessed the clone. Now, XUR has the Chaos Emeralds, and is the only one currently able to use them. Trespasser's life is threatened by XUR, Shadow and Rosalyn are trying desperately to find him, and Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are just getting to the ARK2.
