Why not? She is a government agent, you'd expect they'd hire a field agent with a good background in fighting skill, especially if she's not going to use any other weapon other than bombs.

This seems like a silly question. I would think she'd be great at fighting if she was able to combat Knuckles and destroy robots with her kicks.
