Remember the old Disney Channel?

I started this topic merely out of thinking about when I was a kind in 1998 when I first discovered Disney Channel and when they were actual QUALITY. Now it's a Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers crapfest for little kids. Here's a list of things I remember from the good old days:

- Full-length videos by Britney Spears, NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, and 98 Degrees (when they were cool) during normal commercial breaks
- Brink
- Johnny Tsunami
- Even Stevens
- Zoog Disney
- So Weird

Feel free to add onto the list.

I liked the old Disney channel

-at night they'd show all the old Mickey Mouse and other character cartoons.

I probably started watching Disney channel around the same time as you without knowing it... I remember Even Stevens.

I remember a few more things:

- Boy Meets World
- Brotherly Love
- Full length live concerts

Yeah, and it had its high point in 2000, and then it got progressively worse.

Pfft. I remember when the Disney Channel would play classic movies full-length without commercials (kind of like what AMC was), such as The Grapes of Wrath and Duel. Way before it took the turn for the worst in 1994 (endlessly repeating The Shaggy Dog, Freaky Friday, Blank Check over and over) and eventually evolving to the Disney Channel you know. Oh there's also the time when it actually played the old Disney cartoons from the 20s-60s... and uncut ones during 5AM.

No. Probably what sunset said, all I can remember is Even Stevens or Boy Meets World.
I was Nick/Cartoonetwork fan. I usually never watched it.

I thought the Family Channel/WB played those two shows.
