I have nothing against the West using pseudo-Japanese art styles, but simply "being anime" shouldn't be their incentive to make damn near anything.
After seeing Tony Stark as a High School student, an Iron Man anime shouldn't be too hard to swallow, Wolverine I could also probably accept, but why in Xenu's glorious name would they make a Halo anime?
The bald, stoic, future-Marine is the exact polar opposite of the technicolor-haired, brooding, pretty boy, although they're both just as bad on each end of the spectrum; uniting those two concepts won't create a "grey" middle ground as much as some kind of ugly zebra pattern... thing.
