Call me crazy, but wouldn't it be cool if Mario and Sonic came together for something other than a bunch of mini-games? You know, like an actual game.

I'm not even asking for a storyline, just a Mario and Sonic crossover that only Mario and Sonic could do. They could use anyone as skins for those mini-games, the whole cast could have been Mii's and it would be exactly the same, but a crossover within their own genres would make history.
