sonic 3 save system for mega drive

anyways my question is why doesnt my copy of sonic 3 save? when i turn it off and back on, its gone, and hoping sum1 can help, is it my copy of s3? or is it my mega drive?

I don't know, are you playing on the no save file? Other than that, I don't have any explanation. Oh yes, and go to the New member section of the board if you want to introduce yourself.
