Sonic Classic Collection has been confirmed for Nintendo DS

Recently announced by SEGA, the original SEGA Genesis titles are going to be released for the Nintendo DS next year in a new collection called Sonic Classic Collection. The game will also have "collectable videos and images that will sure to be fan favourites." Here is the main article.

Garbage. How many times is Sega going to re-release the same four games before they finally decide to dust off the Sega CD and 32x titles?

That is gonna be awesome. i can't wait! I have a nintendo and am going to play it all the time :)

Well then again, I hardly have anything for my DS, so I may as well give this one a shot. And my Genesis is in the shop--I really want my 32X repaired so I can get back to some Chaotix.

Ahh, that's great news! I've always wanted to play the old Sonic games on a handheld console, I'll be getting this for sure!

why not release Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection on DS or somethin.

I might get it so I can play Sonic 2 on my DS! :)

They'd better announce something that makes it different from the norm... like being able to play as characters other then the ones who originally appeared in those games.
