So now your character is officially a loli Aeris with Pedobear on her head. XD
Nah, just kidding. I really like how she looks.

I don't know if you're taking requests or not, but if you are, could you anime-fy this?

Sure, I'll try it. Do you mind if it's a girl, though?Mly wrote:I don't know if you're taking requests or not, but if you are, could you anime-fy this?

Sure, why not? Rule 63 makes everything better. Or make it androgynous.Pianta wrote:Do you mind if it's a girl, though?

Re: Pianta can draw? Yes!
I applaud you, my dear, for without a tablet, you are quite amazing.
*thinks*
If you ever DO, get a tablet, you should try Paint Tool Sai and Open Canvas 1.1 (OC is freeware, Paint tool sai is trial, but it doesn't really expire).
One thing people do often is draw with pencil, then scan and color digitally. You should try doing that :)

I do that sometimes, It's hard, though. Drawing with a mouse is too though, that's what I do also.Hidethegames wrote:I applaud you, my dear, for without a tablet, you are quite amazing.

Re: Pianta can draw? Yes!
Thanks. I have a tablet, but I can't work with it. It's probably because I have a crappy tablet, but still, I somehow prefer working with a mouse. Good tablets are expensive though. D:
I've heard about SAI, it's amazing. But the sad thing is; I can't download anything with my mothers approval. I'll try asking for Open Canvas, if not, I'll save my money for Photoshop. I really want something more... professional than Gimp or MS Paint. :/

And Pianta, Gimp really has all you need.
You don't need Photoshop, unless you want some beautiful backgrounds or something, and still even then, some Gimp backgrounds look really awesome as it is.

Re: Pianta can draw? Yes!
Pianta and Sykog, I totally recommend a Bamboo Fun if you have the money.
http://www.wacom.com/bamboo/bamboo_pen_touch.php
Only $100. Well I shouldn't' say "only 100" but it's the best thing you can buy with 100 or less, considering Wacom is the leader of tablets. Plus it's the Macbook track pad without having the Macbook (Has touch sensitivity) It also comes with Photoshop Elements (water down photoshop, but gets your smooth coloring done) and Corel Painter Essentials (Water down corel painter).
I have this one http://cgi.ebay.com/Wacom-Bamboo-Fun-Tablet-Medium-Pen-Mouse-Included_W0QQitemZ280442183001QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item414ba81d59#ht_500wt_975
which I got over a year and half ago for my 13th birthday, and it's great. It doesn't have the touch sensitivity, but it has a large active area. I would recommend this if anyone has the extra money. I had to go on ebay because it's discontinued (read the year and a half ago part) and it also comes with the programs.

You know... for some reason I didn't really see her resembling Aeris at all.Pianta wrote:

Re: Pianta can draw? Yes!
Oh god no...
I do see the resemblance. I mean, look at the eye colour, hair, skirt and hair piece. It almost has the same colour scheme. D:
Also, I might buy a Bamboo Fun tablet. Looks... fun. :D

Re: Pianta can draw? Yes!
Maybe it's May's bandana which covers the upper part of her hair, just like your character.
But then again, her hair does kinda resemble Dawn's if you think about it.

Well... ITS HARD TO COME UP WITH AN ORIGINAL CHARACTER Y'KNOW. ;___;
I'm trying my best. If you have suggestions, let me know.

Like you said, it's hard to come up with an original character seeing how nearly everything is done already.
I mean, compare:
My character:
http://xninjared.deviantart.com/art/Team-Awesome-147754243
A character from Pokemon:
Thing is, nothing's original anymore. What's original now a days is taking already existing things and using them differently.
What I'm trying to say is, keep doing what you like. I mean you most likely didn't even think of Aeris, May or Dawn when you designed your character, so no one can claim you copied from them. Heck we don't even know how her character is yet, let alone her name. :Wink Wink:

I love her eyes and hair. I agree that the hands look a bit too small, but otherwise it's cute :)
