The image all but affirms something Steve Lycett had hinted against–Banjo-Kazooie will be specific to the XBOX 360 edition of the game. The image is small–below. Clearly, this opens up a whole new dimension to who might be in and out for ASR. I want to let you know that, at least for right now and at least according to some of the other box art that’s been released, Banjo and Kazooie will be the only console specific character. So far, other box art indicates nothing else that’s console specific. So, for those wondering about the possibilities of, for example, Mario in the Wii edition, or Sackboy in the PS3… yes, it’s possible, but don’t hold your breath. This may be an exclusive to drive people to the XBOX 360 edition.

Re: Banjo-Kazooie in ASR (Update)
I'm happy to see that Banjo-Kazooie are starting to get into other games to increase their popularity.
But other than that the game is shaping up to be good.

Sega has already mentioned that they were trying to obtain rights to characters specific to each console. If they do anything for Sony I pray to God they use Ratchet & Clank.

At this rate it won't be long before there will be a game which pits characters from all kinds of other studios/series against each other (similar to M.U.G.E.N., with studio involvement).

R&C be the best characters to use for this kind of game. Let's just hope it's not LBP sack boy

Re: Banjo-Kazooie in ASR (Update)
If this game holds up like Diddy Kong Racing, then I will be happy to play it and have Banjo in another racer.
Otherwise, eh... probably still get it, seeing as I'm a racer/BK fan.

My thoughts exactly. I don't see how a soulless burlap sack passes for a mascot anyway.Demon_skeith wrote:Erazor wrote:Sega has already mentioned that they were trying to obtain rights to characters specific to each console. If they do anything for Sony I pray to God they use Ratchet & Clank.

Banjo looks so ridiculous when most of his body is all square.

Re: Banjo-Kazooie in ASR (Update)
I actually like this idea, for one I like Banjo and Sonic so this is good, also. This is a good thing for both sega and rare, Banjo gets publicity, and Sonic gets a little bit more sales from the Banjo Fans. Also, at least now I know Banjo isn't dead in Microsoft's/sega/rare eye's.
