It's as possible as SEGA making another console, which is likely. They've made great money in the past few years again, and they just need another Sonic game that be a universal success.

SEGA dropped out of the hardware and console game more than ten years ago. I doubt they'd attempt to break back into it in the climate of this economy.

Still, Sega is much better off not going in the Console Market.
While some diehard Sega Fans would've gotten it, I'm pretty sure most people will just see it as "Oh, that console that was beaten by the Playstation 2" or "Oh, you mean from the company that made the Sega CD and Sega 32x?" and simply ignore it, and I'm sure Sega knows that.

I wish it was real but it isn't . Even if SEGA made a new console it would be dumb to release it this gen they would have to release it next gen but not too early like the dreamcast was
