Re: Favorite Comic Character
Well Sonic's my favourite character from all universes, but aside from him I'd have to say Sally's my favourite comic character, she's awesome, I really don't see why she's hated so much. =(

I don't hate her - and I don't see why she gets the hate either. ٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶

Good choice... I forgot about her and Lien-Da. Both good characters.

Re: Favorite Comic Character
I'm quite fond of Super Sonic; the Fleetway version, that is. I figure he's different enough from the SEGASonic version to fall into the comic book character category.
It'd have been so easy for them to fall into the trap of having him pop up to deal with the major threats and an easy way out of many a situation, but the path they went was so much more interesting. Rather, their Super Sonic was usually worse than whatever threat Sonic happened to be up against that had stressed him out enough to change in the first place. And THEN they went and split the two of them apart, something which I'd have never expected! That's one of the main Sonic moments that'll always stick with me.
Shame the comic ended when it did. There was so much more potential for his story.
Of course, Fleetway's Sonic tops all if we count characters originally from the games. His personality appealed to me more than anything; he was 'the hedgehog with attitude'. Not that I have anything against good ol' SEGASonic, but... well, he's really a bit of a goody two-shoes when you compare the two, ahaha. :F

Re: Favorite Comic Character
But the Fleetway version portrays him as a rage-aholic, correct me if I'm wrong?

I must've missed the Valdez arc. Can you clue me in?

Re: Favorite Comic Character
It was simple, really; he was on a mission with the Secret Service in Robotropolis, but the plan went awry and he was left behind and roboticised. Instead of simply robbing him of his free will, however, Robotnik warped his memories and sent him to Rainbow Valley to roboticise the other chameleons there (this was before the Shinobi Clan chameleons, mind).
Espio goes to see what's up, and he ends up confronting a roboticised Liza, several roboticised chameleons and the warped roboticised Valdez. Valdez keeps referring to Espio as his 'friend' in order to try and lure him to roboticisation, but Espio has none of it, so he lures Valdez down to the sewer, where he pushes him into the water and he short-circuits.
It can be assumed that he therefore died from this (ala robot Fiona, somewhat), thus wouldn't have been affected by the Bem and their deroboticsation thing.
Actually, thinking about it, we're not sure that Anti-Knuckles is still alive after Scourge confronted him on his way to conquer Moebius. And Dimitri's position isn't exactly comfortable, either...

Re: Favorite Comic Character
I'm going to have to go with Sally or Lien-Da.
A lot of the girls rank high on my list, and I don't care for much of the Archie males (the DFF's are cool, though). Antoine's okay, but more of a meh. I liked Bark and Bean when they were introduced in #160, but Sally and Lien-Da take my top spots.

Lien-Da is certainly a character that doesn't seem to get much attention that I thought was cool.
