Sega saturn!
At least the japanese side of things one of the best games came out for it:radiant silvergun (one of the best SHMUPS ever)
Especially if you have a modded saturn... free saturn games! WHat more could you ask for,need sonic?? Get the homebrew genesis collection.I highly recommend sega saturn if you like SHMUPS,fighting games,RPGs,and racing and sports games of the mid 1990's.
At least the japanese side of things one of the best games came out for it:radiant silvergun (one of the best SHMUPS ever)

Definitely Mega Drive! I never even owned a Saturn until a few years back as I always thought the games for it looked awful, I even thought this when I was a kid. I own one now but I have no games for it, so that just proves what I think of it. =P

Genesis, and I don't think it's even close. Overall, it's a better quality system. It has more staying power.
