Uhhhm, about five or six. I had a few when I was little that are hard to remember.
But the important ones were my two cats Moby and Mortisha, and my 3 dogs Treasure, Joey, and Thunder.
Both of the cats were maincoon. Awesome cats, also rather large.

As for the kinds of dogs I had, Joey was a weiner dog, whatever they're called:

Treasure was a golden retriever:

And Thunder is a saint bernard, big a dogs. You'll know them as those old rescue dogs in the alps with barrels of whisky around their necks:

We got Moby as a kitten, and Mortisha when she was around 2 years old.
All of the other pets we got as puppies, except for Joey I believe.
You should have seen Thunder as a puppy!


We got all of our pets at the local pounds.
EDIT: Except for Thunder, she's a pure bred Saint we bought from a breeder for 800$.

I think Maine coon cats may have originated as a combination between a domesticated house cat and a bob cat.... but that's just a wild guess.

Eh, I wasn't born this nonchalant. It took a lot of s hitting the fan a few years back to make me who I am now. =]
