Meet the kid who made "wimpy" cool, in a family comedy based on the best-selling illustrated novel "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" by Jeff Kinney, the first in a series that has thus far sold 24 million copies. "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" chronicles the adventures of wise-cracking middle school student Greg Heffley, who must somehow survive the scariest time of anyone's life: middle school.

My sister has the comic journal thing, I didn't even know it was popular enough for a move.

Re: Diary of a Wimpy Kid
I've read the book called "Diaries of a Wimpy Kid"
The boy in the story seems awfully interesting; it's almost as if you understand his troubles.

Yes, I myself am a pretty wimpy person, so it is easy to connect with him.

Looks decent, but I still feel Max Keeble's Big Move takes the cake.

You mean there's more than one book?
I thought there was only one book; What are the other books called?

Uhh...there's 4 so far, and I only remember two of the sequels:
Rodrick Rules and Doggy Days.

Re: Diary of a Wimpy Kid
The book was alot better. The movie just uses sexual innuendo for most of the time. The book actually made me laugh. The movie looks, well, stupid.

Out of curiosity, where is the sexual innuendos in the movie? I ask this because I haven't seen the movies, and I am curious to know where the sexual innuendos are.

Re: Diary of a Wimpy Kid
I read all the books, each in less than one hour. There was some buzz among children in my neighborhood that a borrowed friends' copies.
They're pretty good.
