Rewrite the rules?

Do you believe the rules forum should be rewritten and be compressed into a single topic for cogency, or should it remain as is?

I believe there is NO need for an entire forum dedicated for rules, and that all rules should be generalized (less specific) written up as one topic and set to be a "Global Announcement" if you know what I mean by that :)

I actually see nothing wrong with the current set of rules. They are easily enforceable, strict, yet fair.

I agree with that, Miles. It helps a lot in the chat box, as well.

But, well, if there were rules for situations that would appear, that'd be nice. Is it okay if you can make a Admin Rule book and Mod Rule book and Chat Mod Rule book? I'm still a bit lost on my job.

Rules for members of staff should be added to the Staff Room- if it's not created- I suggest that you do it asap :faic:
(a forum that is only seen by members of staff, explaining the details on how they should moderate, certain missions to be accomplished... etc. etc. etc.)- also I don't believe admins require a rule book :)

I think Chatmods should be allowed into the staff room. If they are not important the group should not exist.
It makes communication alot easier.

Well chatmods are just there to stop riots from the chat and do nothing actually useful for the forum
It's like giving a citizen a badge so he can make arrests

No, chatmods are just for the chat. They don't need to see our private discussions.

I like the global announcment.
This way, only one topic is available for all forums.
