-Technical Issues-
In this topic, I ask that anyone who notices any issues with any of the arcade games, or any of the like, report and specify your concerns here. For right now, we only have one problem that can readily be fixed and handled without the repeated mention of the issue, which are black screens.
"When I try to load a game, all I get is a black screen."
It sounds like you need to install or update your Java installation. Not all computers come preloaded with Java, which some of the TSC Arcade games uses to let users play them. Luckily, the Java Virtual Machine is a free download and is rather easy to install.
Click here to download the Java installation package.
If installing Java doesn't seem to have helped (in Windows):
1. Open the Control Panel.
2. Open "Java"
3. Click the "Advanced" tab.
4. Click "Default Java for Browsers"
5. Ensure that all of the options available under this menu are checked.
6. Click "Apply"
7. (Some users may need to restart, if using Internet Explorer.)
(Firefox users may need to close their browser and open it again for changes to take effect.)
8. Use the TSC Arcade. It should work now.
-Updates-
In the meantime, this is where all Arcade updates from hereon out will take place. The first announcement being a well deserved update on several of the games. In no particular order;
1.- Dig Dug has been added to the Arcade.
2.- Donkey Kong is restored to its original state, not the one level knock-off it used to be.
3.- Excitebike is added to the Arcade.
4.- Ice Climber is added to the Arcade.
5.- NEW! Millipede is added to the Arcade.
6.- Arcade Champions is added to the Arcade page.
7.- NEW! Tetris (2) is added to the Arcade.
8.-NEW! Super Mario Bros. 3 is added to the Arcade.
-Requests-
I'll also be taking any and all requests for additional games for the TSC Arcade. However, requests do not guarantee placement, but consideration. A list of requested games, and their upload statuses will be placed directly below.
The topic will be bumped with updates as they happen, and be placed in the OP Archives, directly above. Thanks,
