Keep it. Why? Because we have no real reason to remove it. It may seem like a distraction, but it's also an attraction. And let's not forget the plenty of topics that arose when it was at it's most popular. Not to mention topics being formed just in its honor. In fact, it may discourage members from returning if it is absent. So I see little to no benefit in it's removal.

I never use it because I'm a cool bro and all, but I respect my fellow member's right to use it. Plus, it's way down at the botton so it never gets in the way. It doesn't inconveniance me in any way so I say leave it as it is.

I've learned a lot more about others through the chatbox than I ever have through the forums due to the much more instantaneous responses and conversation. It can also be an entertaining way to vent with slightly less strict rules. It's a lot easier to jump on the chatbox and talk when there's a lot of stuff going on in your personal life as well. On top of that, I cannot find much reason why it shouldn't be there. I think it should stay.
